LINX to take over Asteroid’s Kenyan interconnection operations

The London Internet Exchange (LINX) announced on Monday it has signed a co-operative agreement with internet exchange incubator Asteroid to take over its interconnection operations in Kenya.

Malaysian telco YTL Communications said on Tuesday it has signed two separate MoUs it says will beef up its ability to support adoption of AI in the country – one with Equinix and the other with free-space optics firm Transcelestial.
