An American Airlines Airbus A321 experienced engine trouble while taking off from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) en route to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) on Friday, leaving debris on the airport’s Runway 01R. After smoke was seen emanating from one of the jet’s engines, a runway inspection subsequently recovered a thrust reverse liner.
