US Government Launches Security Investigation Into Commercial Aircraft, Parts & Engines Imports

The United States Department of Commerce (DOC) has launched an investigation into imports of commercial aircraft and engines, as well as parts for aircraft and jet engines. The investigation aims to determine whether such imports from other nations affect the country’s national security.
