In 2023, Delta Air Lines resumed its scheduled services between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Jose Marti International Airport (HAV) in Havana after a three-year suspension which resulted from the pandemic. The daily service links the Florida metropolis to the capital of Cuba, allowing large Cuban communities to benefit from frequent flights. With United Airlines no longer offering the route, it is primarily Delta and American Airlines connecting the two cities.
