Boeing Wins Order For 17 CH-47JA Block II Chinooks From Japan Self-Defense Forces

Japan’s Self Defense Forces have ordered 17 CH-47JA Block II Chinooks. The latest version of twin-rotor heavy lift H-47 Chinook helicopters for Japan will be co-produced by Boeing and Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) for the fourth customer of the CH-47 Block II Chinooks.
