Over the past couple of months, the global commercial aviation industry has gone from projecting record profits in 2025 to forecasting grim earnings and a reduction in growth. No more drastically has an airline been affected by these changes than Delta Air Lines, a legacy carrier which relies heavily on business travelers and, thus, its success is inexplicably linked to the greater state of the economy as a whole.
