The Severn Valley Railway (SVR) in the West Midlands has confirmed that it will proceed with ‘One Railway’, the organisational restructure that it announced in December 2024.
This Sunday (12 October), Greater Anglia’s services will transfer into public ownership under Great British Railways (GBR). This will mean that half of Britain’s train operators will no longer be owned by private companies.
