Violent African woman Alajeck Anai has won an appeal against her six-month jail sentence for savagely bashing an autistic 14-year-old girl at Altona Pier, Melbourne.
Judge Pardeep Tiwana gave her 15 months of community corrections and overturned her conviction.
Judge Pardeep Tiwana
What do we know about this Judge?
‘My appointment should inspire migrants,’ says first Indian-Australian judge of Victoria County Court. An incredible disclosure by this Judge.
Born in England, Pardeep Tiwana migrated to Australia in 2006. After practising law in Victoria for nearly a decade, he has now risen to become a judge of the state’s County (Criminal) Court, the first person of Indian descent to be appointed to this high position.

An outrage
Extraordinary decision letting a person convicted of a violent assault on a young woman off the hook. Every woman who is fighting for violence to end against women should be outraged.
In Victoria the victim has less rights than the person who commits the crime. Only recently a judge handed a substandard sentence to a man who brutally killed two women in Melbourne.
Brilliant piece.
A judge not from an Australian culture prides himself on that fact he is not makes decisions about a violent assault not in keeping with Australia values.
We are truly stuffed.
This judge need to stripped from his role
…
As if roles was reversed and non white was being attacked he’d threw the book at them!
This a taste of what UK and other countries overseas who flooded with migrants with little security checks make they way into responsible positions two tier law enforcement!!!
Yes they do. Unacceptable to the community.
