MTN Cameroon wins court appeal over seized assets

MTN South Africa reportedly plans to shut down its 3G mobile network by the end of this year – a full year earlier than initially planned – following a successful pilot project in Cape Town to migrate 3G users to 4G and 5G.

Digicel Papua New Guinea hailed efforts in expanding its mobile network to all 21 provinces of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, noting 4G coverage now stands at 80% in the location where in the past, it was rumoured to be exiting.

Indian telco Vodafone Idea announced on Monday it has expanded its 5G service to the metropolitan region of Chandigarh in Punjab and Patna in Bihar, just an month after debuting the service in Mumbai.
