All Nippon Airways (ANA) is the largest of the two mainline Japanese airlines ( the other being the flag carrier, Japan Airlines). ANA has been a member of the Star Alliance since October 1999, and it operates a large fleet of 86 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. These include all three variants of the popular widebody, including eight (eventually 10) examples of the extra-stretched 787-10 variant. While these aircraft are capable of long-haul flights, ANA has configured them with the highest seat density of any in service today to serve high-capacity domestic short-haul routes. Here is what to know about ANA’s new fleet of 787-10s with 429 seats each.
