Northamptonshire road closures for HS2 work removed

Weekend closures of the A43 road at Brackley in Northamptonshire to allow construction of a bridge over HS2 have now finished.

HS2 lifts fourth tunnelling machine after 3.4-mile journey under London

Over the bank holiday weekend, HS2 engineers began lifting the last of four tunnelling machines to the surface.

Civil engineering construction work on the Chiltern tunnel, the longest tunnel on HS2, has been completed.

Work has started on installation of a new cycle bridge in Warwickshire, where National Cycle Route 41 crosses the new HS2 high-speed railway line.
