The National Museum of the United States Air Force has grown from being a small engineering study collection in 1923 to the world’s largest military aviation museum. It is the oldest military aviation museum with over 360 aircraft and missiles on display. Not all the on display aircraft are from the United States military as it also has international aircraft. Around a million people visit the museum every year to see its treasure trove of military aircraft. It is home to countless one-of-a-kind objects displayed in 20 indoor acres with additional outdoor Air and Memorial Parks.
