Based on analyzing all schedules using Cirium Diio information, turboprop aircraft will operate 7% of flights from the US to Canada between March and August. That’s four points higher than domestic US services, a market in which such equipment is renowned for being deeply unpopular. One in 14 US-Canada flights will be on a prop, covering an average distance of just 276 nautical miles (511 km).
