Network Rail appoints new Route Director to lead railway in North & East

Network Rail has appointed a new Route Director on its North & East route who will be responsible for running the railway in Yorkshire and the North East of England.
Rail users around Fife are being reminded of 18 days of disruption in October as Network Rail continues to undertake major engineering works as part of a £311.5m investment from the Scottish Government to electrify over 70 miles of track.
