Airbus Expected To Ink Deal With Spirit AeroSystems After “Good Progress”

European aircraft manufacturer Airbus is inching closer to signing a deal with Spirit AeroSystems, which produces key parts for Airbus airplanes. The company is critical to the supply chain for both plane makers and is in the process of splitting its business for a change of ownership.
