Boeing is one of the largest commercial aircraft manufacturers in the world, with nearly 50,000 employees in its commercial aviation segment alone. This includes those located at its major manufacturing facilities in Everett, Washington, and Charleston, South Carolina. Boeing was founded over 100 years ago, in July 1916, and, since then, the company has grown to be one of the largest aerospace companies in the world, recording nearly $33 billion in revenue in 2024.
