As the Indian economy continues to rise, India’s low-cost IndiGo airline is undergoing a dramatic expansion, and today it has almost a thousand aircraft on order. IndiGo is the largest airline in India with around domestic 61% market share (ahead of India’s other major airline, Air India, the country’s flag carrier). While it mostly operates narrowbody aircraft, it has also placed orders for Airbus A350 widebody aircraft.
