Rakuten Symphony and Tejas to integrate Open RAN for India and elsewhere

Ericsson has secured a multi-billion-dollar deal to supply 4G and 5G equipment and solutions to Indian operator Bharti Airtel, outpacing its rivals.

Huawei signed global patent licensing agreements with Amazon and Chinese smartphone firm Vivo, moves the infrastructure company said will provide consumers with more innovative products and services. 

Indian communications service provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) has strengthened its longstanding network partnership with Ericsson through the award of major 4G and 5G contracts which, Ericsson says, will see the tech giant extend its network share.
