A week ago today, on Thursday, June 12th, 2025,Air India Flight 171 crashed shortly after departing from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD) in the Indian city of Ahmedabad for London Gatwick (LGW) on a scheduled service operated by a Boeing 787-8. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Campbell Wilson, the Indian flag carrier’s CEO, addressed the crash in an online video.
