On Wednesday, February 28, LanzaJet, a leading sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer, revealed that it received a large $30 million investment from Southwest Airlines. The Dallas, Texas-based carrier and LanzaJet will work toward the development of a SAF production facility in the United States. LanzaJet will also collaborate on the production of a corn stover to ethanol technology with another company that Southwest Airlines recently invested in, SAFFiRE Renewables.
