Amtrak has advised that Traditional Dining will be available for purchase to a limited-number of Coach customers traveling on the Silver Meteor and Silver Star, beginning on March 4. Coach customers will receive the same meal as First Class customers, including a complimentary beverage at dinner. As per an Amtrak source, initially, the diner will be accepting reservations for up to five coach passengers at a time. The number of coach passengers seated depends upon the number of sleeping car passengers being served by the diner.
