Illawarra and South Coast train users are being warned to expect major delays due to industrial action and severe weather overnight.
At least one train has been cancelled so far on the South Coast line.
Rail, Tram and Bus Union Wollongong delegate Scott Harland said union members share the frustration of commuters.
“We are as frustrated as they are,” he said.
