Flight QF1226 took off from Melbourne at 10:24am on Friday morning on board QantasLink’s second A220, VH-X4B, touching down in Canberra at 11:09am. Qantas also began operating A220s on its Melbourne-Brisbane route on Friday.
Starting 26 October, the airline will increase from 11 to 14 weekly return services between Perth and Hong Kong, and from 12 to 14 between Brisbane and Hong Kong, both year-round.
The late-night flights, operated by 303-seat A350-900 aircraft, will depart WSI at 11:55pm, arriving in Singapore at 5am the following morning, before leaving Singapore at 11:30am to touch down in Western Sydney at 10:20pm. Services will commence from …
