The Australian Financial Review has claimed the airline is mindful that the Transport Workers’ Union opposes the favourite for the top job due to his apparent role in the illegal sacking of ground workers mid-COVID-19.

On Saturday, May 16th, a Croatia Airlines Airbus A220-300 had to reject takeoff at high-speed and left the runway as a result. The aircraft smashed through several signs as it came to a stop.It’s noted that the aircraft veered to the left during take-off before leaving the paved section of the runway and entering a grassy area beside it.
