Rostec, the majority shareholder of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), the company whose subsidiary Yakovlev is designing the MC-21, has shed some light today on the outlook for the new narrowbody. Russia’s domestic competitor to the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX is facing yet more delays, with first deliveries now postponed to 2025 or 2026.
