The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently revealed that a private jet carrying the Gonazaga University men’s basketball team was recently involved in a runway incident. According to the FAA, the private jet carrying the team was ordered to stop immediately as it approached an active runway at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in Los Angeles, California. The aircraft was originally directed to hold short of a runway when the aircraft ventured into the hold bars. The air traffic control tower at LAX told the pilots to immediately stop their aircraft ahead of the active runway. According to the FAA, the aircraft never crossed the runway edge line, and the aircraft that was taking off on the runway in question proceeded without incident.
