Why The E-4B Nightwatch & VC-25B Air Force One Are Critical To US National Security

Two of the most specialized aircraft the United States Air Force operates for the United States President are the famous VC-25 (Air Force One) and the less famous E-4B Nightwatch “Doomsday” aircraft. Both of these extensively modified Boeing 747-200s are built so that the President and other upper echelons of the government can carry out their duties and command the nation and armed forces from the air.
