Qatar Airways Strategically Adding Boeing 777s To Canberra

On Monday, Qatar Airways announced it is re-launching flights to Australia’s capital city, Canberra, the home of the nation’s federal politicians who rejected the airline’s bid last year for more flights to major cities. It is also where the government will decide on the merits of Qatar Airways’ bid for a 25% stake in Virgin Australia, although that will be made well before these new services commence in December 2025.
