In a nice piece of symmetry, Brisbane Airport has welcomed the inaugural Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to Brisbane, linking the next two cities to host the Summer Olympic Games. Another symbolic touch was that Delta Air Lines sent its LA28 liveried Airbus A350 to its second destination Downunder, complementing its existing Los Angeles to Sydney route.
