Pilatus aircraft are popular around the world as training aircraft and sometimes as a type of light and affordable fighter (as in the case of Mexico with its PC-9 aircraft). The Pilatus PC-21 has just been selected as a new trainer for the Canadian Armed Forces, meaning Canada is set to become the next country to operate the trainer. As well as other trainers, Pilatus also builds the Pilatus PC-24 and Pilatus PC-12 business jets. These are the countries that operate the Pilatus PC-21 advanced trainer aircraft.
