The B-21 Raider is smaller, stealthier, capable of a greater mission set, and much cheaper than its B-2 Spirit bomber predecessor. This is due for a number of factors – and some of those factors are still wild cards and could yet drive up the cost of the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider. The B-21 Raider looks like it is set to be a very successful project, not only is it on time but it is also around $2 billion under budget.
