The Embraer E175 entered commercial service in July 2005 with 
Air Canada, and went on to be a commercial success for the Brazilian manufacturer, with more than 900 aircraft sold. The medium-range narrowbody aircraft has proved particularly popular with regional airlines in the US, with the three largest operators being:
