American Airlines Will Launch 9 Long-Haul Routes This Year

American Airlines is to introduce nine long-haul routes in 2024. While all have been disclosed before, it is worth summarizing them. Five are brand-new, and four are resumptions. The latest offering to be announced – New York JFK to Tokyo Haneda – will return after almost 11 years. The long-awaited resumption was enabled by American being granted additional coveted Haneda slots at the expense of United Airlines.
