Low-cost airlines, such as Allegiant Air, a prominent budget carrier based in Las Vegas, have a strong interest in the Florida market. They firmly believe that Florida is one of the most significant leisure destinations in the country for passenger growth. While many airlines have either increased their services to Florida or expanded their operations at select facilities within the state, Allegiant has taken it a step further by growing its network to include six different operating bases.
