Edwards Air Force Base in California is one of the United States Air Force major installations. It is the heart of testing new aircraft and systems and is where the Air Force trains its most hard-core test pilots. The sprawling base’s host wing is the 412th Test Wing (412 TW). It was this wing and at this base that the new B-21 Raider stealth strategic bomber took flight for the first time in November 2023.
