Last Tuesday, Australia's second airline, Virgin Australia, announced that its CEO Jayne Hrdlicka, with the board's support, had decided to transition from the CEO role. The two-page announcement strongly indicated that Hrdlicka made the decision and that it was smiles all around, but is that what really happened?
