Transpennine Route Upgrade reaches new milestone

Work on the Dewsbury to Leeds section of the Transpennine Route Upgrade has now reached halfway, with the work set to continue until 22 November.

Passengers thanked after West Yorkshire rail upgrade work

The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) has thanked passengers for their patience during five days of disruption last week.

TRU work will see no trains for 3 weeks from Leeds to Ravensthorpe as of Monday 3 March

For three weeks in March, train services in West Yorkshire will be severely disrupted beacue of work on the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU).
