A major command (MAJCOM) is an organization of the United States Air Force above the numbered air forces, centers, wings, and groups. The MAJCOM is always ready to respond to the president’s orders, ensuring that soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines are trained and have the necessary equipment to succeed no matter the mission. This article highlights some facts of the MAJCOM realignment into the new construct.
