CAE recently unveiled its newest technological advancement focused on improving the flight training process. The Montreal, Canada-based company revealed it has created an immersive pilot training application to be used with an Apple Vision Pro, a virtual reality (VR) headset. This application was revealed early last week, ahead of the annual National Business Aviation Administration (NBAA) Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (BACE) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new application was on display at the event, allowing users to immerse themselves in a cockpit and begin flight training procedures in a virtual Bombardier Global 7500 integrated flight deck. The system can be adapted to any aircraft type. CAE plans to officially roll out the program in Spring 2025.
