Missing a gate call in a noisy, crowded airport is something most of us have done, and usually, we catch the announcement the second time or see the board flickering and get moving. It is not that simple for deaf or hard of hearing travelers, which is why an announcement made yesterday by Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport should be widely applauded.
