Australia’s Qantas Group has more than 100 new aircraft on order and needs to recruit and train 8,500 new operational staff over the next decade to operate and maintain them. Today, the airline group announced it will invest more than AU$40 million ($27 million) in a range of training and safety programs to meet that need.
