USAF B-2s Return To Service 3 Months Ahead Of Schedule With New Inspection Process

The United States Air Force has reported that the “Spirit of Nebraska” – a B-2 Spirit stealth strategic bomber has been returned to operations 91 days ahead of schedule. This was after the bomber completed its programmed depot maintenance. Separately, the Air Force recently announced the B-2 bombers were used in conflict for the first time in seven years to bomb underground Houthi targets in Yemen (in a move widely seen as a warning to Iran).
