Unfortunately, plane crashes all the time – particularly military aircraft ( some military aircraft have more crashes than others). The first response to an air crash is to find the site and look for survivors. However, exactly how the US military will respond to crashes varies widely. Is the crash in a conflict zone? Did it happen at a United States Air Force base? Does the aircraft have sensitive military technology? Are there survivors? All of these are major factors that will greatly influence any response.
