Travis Air Force Base is one of the busiest airforce bases in the United States Air Force and is a major jumping-off point to support American Pacific theater operations. However, there are other bases that contend for the accolade as the US Air Force’s busiest base – to a large degree, it depends on one’s criteria. The busiest air force bases are not necessarily the same as the largest US Air Force bases.
