Denmark has taken a key step towards the electrification of its regional aviation sector after Nordic Seaplanes closed a deal for up to 15 ‘Noemi’ aircraft from Norwegian developer Elfly. The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two firms is valued at approximately $150 million, and features firm orders for five units and options for another 10 as Nordic Seaplanes looks to modernize its operations.
