On September 19, a ComacC919 aircraft took off from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) in Sichuan and, after a flight of 2 hours and 8 minutes, landed smoothly at Lhasa Gonggar International Airport (LXA) in Tibet. This marked the first time a c919 aircraft had reached Lhasa, joining the ARJ21 aircraft, which was already conducting demonstration flights on the Tibetan Plateau.
