New MVNO Unifique is authorised to operate in Brazil

State-owned operator Ethio Telecom has officially expanded its commercial 5G network in southern Ethiopia, as the operator continues to deploy fifth-generation technology.

Southeast European media and telecoms operator United Group has completed the sale of Serbian cable TV and broadband provider SBB to e& PPF Telecom for €825 million.

Malaysian telco U Mobile is reportedly set to deploy between 5,000 and 7,000 5G sites across the country as it prepares to take on the role of the country’s second 5G operator, and is likely to collaborate with other telcos in the process.
