Auckland Airport Says Goodbye To Airline Waste And Single-Use Plastic

Sustainability in aviation covers a vast spectrum, be it new-generation aircraft with lower emissions, sustainable aviation fuels, electric propulsion or getting rid of the food waste generated by airlines. New Zealand's Auckland Airport is tackling sustainability from multiple aspects, focusing on diverting waste from landfills and instead converting it into organic compost used by local fresh food producers.
