The F-27 Friendship was a popular turboprop airliner produced by the Dutch manufacturer Fokker between 1955 and 1987. First taking to the skies for a commercial airline on November 19, 1958, the plane was set to become a mainstay of regional airlines across Europe and beyond. By the time Fokker's production lines shut down in 1987, the manufacturer had managed to sell over 600 units.
