The Gresley Society Trust has announced that The National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded it a “significant” grant to help fund its year of celebrations to mark next year’s 150th anniversary of Sir Nigel Gresley’s birth.

Nottinghamshire station drainage to affect passenger journeys this weekend
Drainage improvement work at Lowdham station will affect passenger services between Nottingham and Lincoln on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November.
